Aimee has been involved in community theatre since she was as young as Matilda! She loves every aspect of the theatre and is inspired by watching young children find their passion on stage or behind the scenes. She finds joy in helping children see characters come to life before their eyes and building their confidence on and off the stage. She believes theatre is the epitome of a team sport where every team member owns a part in the success of the production. Aimee brings three decades of dance and theatre experience to our community, having performed on stage in a variety of roles, been a part of numerous ensembles and dance companies, and served on the board of directors for local dance and theatre organizations. Above all, Aimee’s favorite thing to do is dance, and she feels fortunate to be among so many talented and eager actors who give her choreography their all! She continues to be motivated to co-create entertaining and visually stunning productions alongside Mary Bastoni. As an educator and lover of children’s literature, Aimee believes Matilda is a story worth telling. This tale of resilience, empowerment, and the importance of a child’s vision is relevant in today’s society. Aimee is so proud of the cast of Matilda, who truly bring this classic story to life!
