Meet our distinguished instructors for Broadway at the Playhouse

A four-week musical theater camp series taught by local professionals and professionals that have just stepped off a Broadway stage for kids ages 8-15!
Each week is taught by a different professional assisted by M&D Director of Youth Education, Hannah-Jo Weisberg.

Malik Akil Kimani Victorian
is a distinguished musical theatre performer and educator, known for his dynamic presence on stage and his commitment to nurturing the next generation of theatre artists. With professional credits that include Broadway productions such as Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn, Disney’s Aladdin, and Tina Fey’s Mean Girls, Malik has established himself as a versatile and talented performer. His regional theatre highlights feature performances at prestigious venues like the Arden Theatre Company, Signature Theatre, and North Carolina Theatre.

A proud graduate of Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of Music Musical Theatre program, Malik’s passion for theatre extends beyond his own performance. He has dedicated significant time to sharing his love of the arts with youth, which includes his tenure as an adjunct instructor at the North Texas Performing Arts Academy in Plano, TX, and with Broadway Workshop, Inc. in New York, NY, where he led private group trainings for visiting school groups and non-profit organizations.

When not on stage or teaching, Malik enjoys cycling, trying out new recipes, and taking care of his plant babies.



Katie Proctor
is an entertainment professional who has cast talent for Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, cruise ships, theme parks, online fitness, and everything in between. Her impressive roster of clients includes Disney’s The Lion King, iFIT by NordicTrack, Holland America Line, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Cunard Cruise Line, Hersheypark, Cedar Fair, Prada, Vera Wang, Teen Vogue, Mattel, Nickelodeon, and Europe’s 2nd largest theme park Europa-Park. She cast numerous seasons for both Story Land and Santa’s Village, bringing top-notch talent to the White Mountains. Ms Proctor is also a private audition coach and independent casting consultant. From Master Classes to Resume Workshops to Musical Theater Business 101 and everything in between, she is passionate about raising up the next generation of performers. 






Keri Rene

Regional: [title of show] (Heidi); Murder Ballad (Sara), Dogfight (Rose), Les Miserable (Eponine), Lizzie Borden (Lizzie), A Chorus Line (Maggie), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Rachel), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), Titus Andronicus (Lavinia), The Winter’s Tale (Perdita). Workshops: GATSBY with Florence+The Machine, Not Ready for Prime Time (Laraine Newman), and Living Quarters at Irish Repertory Theatre (Anna). She has been a part of numerous readings and concerts all over NYC and continues to pursue new and groundbreaking works. Keri also releases her own music under the name DITTA, find her on all streaming platforms.






Dan DeLuca
is a theater and television actor, most known for originating the role of Jack Kelly on the First National Tour of Disney’s Newsies and the title role in Jerry Lewis & Marvin Hamlisch’s The Nutty Professor. DeLuca just finished starring as the leading man/woman in the regional premiere of Tootsie with Sally Struthers and playing opposite Sierra Boggess in the Off-Broadway Revival of Neil Simon’s The Goodbye Girl. He has developed new projects alongside celebrated theatrical giants, including Stephen Schwartz, Alan Menken and Martin Charnin. Regional Credits include: The Paper Mill Playhouse, Pittsburgh CLO, The Muny, & Goodspeed Musicals. TV: The Code: CBS, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and HSN. Various Concerts include: Walt Disney World & Radio City Music Hall.
