Located at Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse in scenic North Conway village, M&D Playhouse was founded in 2000 by Ken Martin and Mark DeLancey with the idea that theatre had a responsibility to educate as well as entertain. With over 20 NH Theatre Awards, and the NETC Award for Excellence in the American Theatre, M&D has proven that quality live theatre has a place in this vibrant community.

M&D Playhouse is an IRS 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. M&D moved to its current location in March of 2019. It was located in Willow Commons from 2009 to 2019.

The Eastern Slope Inn Playhouse’s bathrooms are currently not ADA compliant. Recognizing the national interest in preserving historic properties, Congress established alternative requirements for properties that cannot be made accessible without “threatening or destroying” their significance. If need a handicapped accessible bathroom, we please ask that you use the bathrooms located in the lobby of the Eastern Slope Inn.
